Wedding Photography

Why do I love wedding photography?

It never occurred to me that I would become a wedding photographer. Yes, after photographing over 40 weddings over the last 4 years, I feel like I can finally say that. At the age of 15, I held my first point and shoot, age 17, my first DSLR, age 18, shot my first wedding. From what started as a hobby and way to get out of the house, has become a passion I have grown to love more and more. I am absolutely in love with it.

But what is it about wedding photography that I love so much?

The emotion. The people. The ability to capture moments that will last a lifetime.

Every wedding day is different, but the same. Each day has a serious of events: the bride and groom both get ready, see each other for the first time, get married, and dance the night away. It's the consistency that I love, but  the unexpectedness that makes me feel alive.

I feel privileged. Privileged that I get to share in these moments with these couples and their guests. I feel privileged that my photos will either be on their walls or even their coffee tables for generations to see. I feel privileged that I was given the ability to work and meet with so many amazing and talented people. I learn from each and every one that I work with.

So I leave you with this:
Are you passionate about something?

Rancho Cucamonga Maternity | Christina & Daniel

This baby boy is due in a month!  I could barely tell Christina was pregnant from behind. Christina wanted an in home session. I feel like it was more intimate setting for a maternity session. Christina has always been so beautiful even back when we were home schooled in high school. I'm excited for her in this new time in her life. Can't wait to meet baby Daniel. Congratulations!

Christopher & Alexandra | San Dimas Engagement

Christopher & Alexandra are engaged! This sweet couple got engaged the day before their engagement session and I'm so glad they choose me to photograph it.They are hoping to get married sometime next year. I choose beautiful San Dimas, CA for their engagement session. This rustic engagement session in San Dimas was a perfect match. We started off at the Walker House. This house was built in 1887 as a railroad hotel and was recently restored. We then ventured over to City Hall and found a beautiful water fountain. All of their images were beautiful but here are a few of my favorites.

Cody & Kendall | San Dimas Engagement

I met Kendall a few years back. She and I were part of a homeschooling community. We had mutual friends and I met her through them. When I met her, she came up to me and my twin sister, Priscilla, and introduced herself in the friendliest way possible. We occasionally saw each other at Disneyland, a place where plenty of home schooled kids loved to hang out. I was shy back in high school, blame it on the homeschooling, but I remember thinking she was super nice. Years later, I've followed her life through face book and was super excited when I saw that she was engaged! I was thrilled that she allowed me to photograph her and her fiance,Cody. Cody is just as sweet as Kendall. I loved watching as he cared for Kendall as we were hiking to the perfect spot in Bonelli Park in San Dimas. Congratulations you two! Can't wait to see what the future holds.

Twin Oaks Garden Estate Wedding | D & C

As much as I love to be the lead photographer for my own weddings, I love second shooting. There is something about being able to photograph beautiful weddings with other photographers that I absolutely love. I have been privileged enough to shoot with some really amazing photographers. Richelle from Richelle Dante Photography allowed me to second with her at the cutest venue ever! Twin Oaks Garden Estate was too adorable! The bridal suite, decorated with beautiful vintage furniture, was originally a school house dating back to 1891. It was definitely one of my favorite venues of 2013. Here are a few favorites from Danny and Crystal's special day.

Thanks for stopping by!!
